

Renée McCabe Burrows passed away suddenly and peacefully on July 27th, 2015, at 10:10PM, surrounded by loving family and friends. Renée was born to her father and well-loved physician Dr. Edward F. McCabe and surgical nurse Luella L. McCabe, who both instilled the most significant values of poise, strength, and radiance in her life. Renée attended Puyallup High School and later continued on to Pacific Lutheran University and the University of Washington, where she majored in Business and Communications. Renée had an exceptional knack for drawing people to her, with a smile that could warm the hearts of everyone around her. A stunning woman, Renée was discovered by Sears, Roebuck and Company, where she utilized the business side of her college major, excelling in electronics sales, and driving a team of people who found great rewards in working with her. Renée was a lifelong member of All Saints Parish in downtown Puyallup. Renée was married to Alan Burrows in 1984 at All Saints. In 1989 Renée had her first child,now Operations Specialist 2nd Class Edward Burrows, (USN). In 1991 her daughter Jaqueline Nicole (Mother of two beatiful children) was born. Renee’s two children remained the joy of her life. Renée was extremely passionate about music throughout her life. Being brought up in a home where creativity and dedication were encouraged, she excelled in her talents, later moving on to playing and then teaching piano to others. She enjoyed spending many hours working with her local community in Edgewood at the Fish Food Bank, where she served thousands of people with that same radiant smile on her face. Renée’s kindness and generosity of spirit could light up even the darkest of rooms. Wherever she went, Renée was known for her caring personality and upbeat nature. The pure joy and love that Renée showed to everyone will never be forgotten. Her selfless personality will leave a lasting impression on her community for many years to come and she will be missed greatly. Renee is pre-deceased by her parents, Dr. Edward F. McCabe, and Luella L. McCabe. She is survived by her sisters, Robin McCabe and Rachelle McCabe Humphrey (Philip), her son Edward Burrows, daughter Jacqueline Burrows Barnard, (Daks), grandchildren Victor and Makenna Barnard.
