Robert James Simons

Robert James Simons Lt. Col. U.S. Army Ret. Robert J. Simons born April 29th, 1935 lost his courageous battle with pancreatic cancer April 4th, 2011. Bob was born in Syracuse, New York: graduated from Syracuse University, spent 22 years as an officer in the U.S. Army; received an MS in Education from Bucknell University and worked 15 years for the State of Washington. Bob loved traveling, food, wine, bowling and computers! He was a happy man, loved by all and will be sorely missed. He is survived by hiw wife of 52 years, Marlene; his daughter Debbie, husband Chris and their children Dustin, Cordelia, and Rosalind; and daughter Mandy, partner Cathy and their son Tre. A funeral mass will be held at All Sains Parish in Puyallup WA on Sat. April 16th, 2011 at 1 pm. Donations only to the Smile Train charity at www.smiletrain.org.
