Shirley Fager

Our beloved grandmother, Shirley Fager, passed away peacefully on December 8th, 2012. She was blessedly reunited in Heaven with her treasured daughters, Sue Meier and Dinah Fager, and her true love of over 50 years, Gerald Fager. Shirley was the youngest child of Dr. Thomas and Mary Runnalls of Puyallup, WA. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Margaret Williams and Mary Ellen Sambila. She will be dearly missed by her granddaughters, Bridgitte Brown, Shawna O’Flaherty, and Jessica Meier; great-grandchildren Isabel and Lily Collier, and Josh and Shane O’Flaherty; great-great-granddaughter, Audrey; niece, Shelly Windeler-Epley; and grand-sons-in-law, Gary Hess and Bryan Cook. Shirley was cherished by her many friends, especially by her companion of 10 years, Bill Smith. Shirley was an adored first grade school teacher at Sheridan Elementary in Tacoma, WA for 20 years.
