Steven Michael Briggs

Steve was born on the April 21, 1963 in Walla Walla, Washington and passed away on October 2, 2011 in Lakewood, Washington. Steve received a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Evergreen College and worked as a Systems Support Specialist for CRAB – Cancer Research and Biostatistics. Steve was a devoted fan of the Boston Red Sox and the Oakland Raiders. He had an unrelenting passion for sports. He was also a fan of the Grateful Dead. Steve loved to cook and was a master at the grill. Steve is survived by his mother Catherine Francis, sister Alyson Briggs Rankin, nephew Andrew Mazur, nieces Sarah Mazur and Victoria Rankin. In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to the Jimmy Fund which has been the official charity of the Boston Red Sox since 1953. Donations can be made in Steve’s name at:
