

Ann escaped from the horrors that were taking place in Germany and came to the United States with her mother and brother, the late Hermann Fressle, in 1935. In the United States, she was reunited with her father, Hermann.
Life was difficult for Ann in her new country. She first had to learn the English language. Eventually she would leave school to help her mother who was also having difficulty adapting to her new country. She helped with the house work and she also helped her mother raise her younger siblings. Ann would later work in a factory making sutures in New York City.
She met and fell in love with Joseph Francis Lenihan and they were married. They raised their family in Queens Village, NY. Later in life, they would move to Denver, NC. Joseph preceded her in death by 20 days entering into eternal life on October 6, 2017. They were married for over 65 years.
Ann is survived by her daughter Christine Ford; her son, Joseph Lenihan; 5 grandchildren & 7 great grandchildren; sister Pia Erkan and brothers William and Walter Fressle.
Ann went home to the Lord and to her Joseph on October 26, 2017.
"Where do broken hearts go, can they find their way home, back to the open arms of a love that is waiting there." Today Ann's broken heart is now mended and she returns home to the loving arms of her Joseph, never to be separated again.
