

She was born on December 2, 1929, to parents, Joseph Cantave and Alice Pierre, in Port-au-Prince, Haiti. She came to the United States in the 1960s, where she became an accounting clerk in New York City.
In 1976, Ena bought a 2-family home in Corona, Queens. As a homeowner and property manager for more than 40 years, she took great pride in managing and maintaining her rental property.
Over the years, Ena also spent time doing what she loved most--traveling around the world. Visiting places such as Italy, France, Mexico, Israel, Switzerland, and Hawaii. She also enjoyed hobbies like gardening, sewing, and spending time with her family and close friends.
Ena is survived by her nieces, Linda and Nancy.
A visitation will be held at R. Stutzmann & Son, located at 224-39 Jamaica Ave, Queens Village, NY 11428, on February 13, 2026, from 9:00 am to 11:30 am. The funeral service will follow at the same location from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm.
Burial will take place at Maple Grove Cemetery, 127-15 Kew Gardens Rd, New York, NY 11415, on February 13, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 1:30 pm.
