The wife said it would be ok to continue the League and I told her that we College grads would check on her. So rest peacefully my brother from another mother and 2 other fathers... lol.

My nephew George was a sweetheart.  He now is resting in peace, no longer in pain.   He has finished his journey through life and is with his grandmother Emma in heaven looking down on his family. 
Until we meet again Georgie or what we called you when you were a little boy Twinkle.   You will be missed  luv titi Nancy.

Uncle George, I can't believe you are no longer here. Who else is going to call me a big-headed kid,  make me laugh till my stomach hurts, or cry at the most sentimental movies or commercials? I'm going to miss you a million times Uncle George. You were one of the greats! I pray God welcomed you with open arms and told you how great you served your family and now you can finally rest and be at peace and watch over all of us. We may never understand why God does certain things but his plan is always greater than ours even when it hurts. Take care of Baby August up there! I hope we meet again and you greet me just like this! I love you forever!

Johnny Mambo was Johns nickname until Jocelyn & Jyselle started calling him Tio Johnson and lo&behold here comes Flynn calling him Tio Johnson and before you knew it, that became his new name! Well Tio Johnson loved the crap out of you and will miss you just as much💔💔The Ramirez family is gutted💔💔

He went from calling him Big Drew to Big Drew Boogie and everyone of my kids thought that was the funniest thing ever...no one could escape without a nickname.. so I followed his lead we have Aidan aka Little Gotti  and George didn't give me a chance to choose a name.. one day while joking about the kids he says tell them to call me FLYNN! I was on the floor cracking up & just like that he became Flynn Ortiz..crazy boy! I love you💔

I started this like six times…. I don’t have the words. We said everything we wanted to say to each other… especially your last day.  I love you. You love me. Always.  That’s all that matters, right? 🤜🏽🤛🏽 Good Night, Sleep Well… I’ll never get over this.

After 25 years, George finally won his championship

This is an excerpt of what i texted, through a tsunami of tears, to George's fantasy football family...
"🥺On behalf of the League, it's with a crushed heart and smashed soul that I must report the inconsolable news that my brother George passed away last night in his sleep. His ongoing battle with cancer for the past 2 years was a valiant one, which is what we all have come to expect from such a fierce competitor.  George is the one friend that you always knew would be impartial, transparent and omnipresent. Whether it was regarding the reality of life or the thrills of fantasy, you could always count on George to vocalize his opinion.  We shall remember all the good he accomplished and may those memories be a blessing to all of us😞!"

To My Brother George..There is absolutely no way I am ever ever going to get over the biggest loss in my life. My baby bro, my Flynn, my fellow Freestyle lover, my Yankee partner... who's going to call me now and say "Kid what's up" I will never be the same without you around.. I am gutted to the core! I was blessed to have met George when I was a teen as we both danced on the show Dance Party USA. George was always a happy go lucky guy to be around. I never saw him angry. He would drive from NY to dance every weekend in Philly. When the show ended, we stayed in touch for a little but our lives had moved on. Sad that we lost touch but thanks to social media, I came across his beautiful wife who shared my cell with him. George called me and we spoke for a while and it was like no time had passed. I love the time that I did have with George. I am happy he is in no more pain but sad that he was taken from us too soon. George, until we meet again.
