Linda Dixon, born 10/1/1945 in Queens, N.Y. left us too soon and will be greatly missed by those who knew her. Beloved wife of William Dixon and loving mother and grandmother. Linda loved animals and volunteered at the North Shore Animal League. She was a member of the Creedmore Civic Association. In addition to her garden, she enjoyed the adventure of traveling to new places. The family will be receiving guests on Tuesday, May 22, 2012 from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Gregory the Great R.C. Church 242-20 88 Avenue, Bellerose, N.Y. Burial will follow at Nassau Knolls Cemetery, Port Washington, N.Y. In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Linda's memory to the American Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to R. Stutzmann & Son.
