

Mario Fabian Gutierrez, 58, beloved father, grandfather, son, and loving friend to all those that knew him, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, and loved ones on Saturday, May 4, 2024, at Northwell Health System North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset, NY.
Mario was born on October 22, 1965, in Guayaquil, Ecuador to Gilberto Gutierrez and Elsa Petita Martinez. He is survived by his children, Ginger, and Christian Gutierrez; two grandsons, Christopher, and Matthew Gutierrez; one brother, Ronny Gutierrez; one sister, Wendy Lopez; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mario was a humble servant of the church first and foremost. He was a member of Freeport Bible Center and held small bible study groups in his home in Valley Stream, NY. He was also a member of the International Chaplains and Law Enforcement Volunteer in Police Service also known as VIPS. He enjoyed serving the church and his community in any way that he could. His love and faith in Christ will not be forgotten and live on through all whose lives Mario influenced. “I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do.” – John 17:4
Mario was also a graduate with an electrician degree and worked in plumbing for many years. He loved soccer and enjoyed being a goalie. He also loved spending time with his family, his church and was a hard worker. Mario will be remembered for his sweet and silly sense of humor, his passion for God, his family and those in need.
Family, friends and all whose lives Mario touched are welcomed to join the visitation services on Sunday, May 12, 2024, at 4:00pm-8:00pm and on Monday, May 13, 2024, at 8:45am-9:45am at R. Stutzmann & Son Funeral Home, 224 39 Jamaica Ave, Queens Village, NY 11428 with Funeral Service to follow from 9:45am-10:45am. He will be laid to rest at 11:30am-12:00pm at Maple Grove Cemetery, 127-15 Kew Gardens Rd, New York, NY 11415.
