Matilde was a proud mother of five children: Lisette Alvarenga, the late Oscar Alvarenga, Ivette Palomino Alvarenga, Franklin Palomino Alvarenga, and Dulce Castro Alvarenga. She was also blessed with 17 grandchildren, all of whom she loved deeply and equally.
A visitation will be held at R. Stutzmann & Son, located at 224-39 Jamaica Ave, Queens Village, NY 11428, on December 22, 2025, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm.
The funeral mass will take place at the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Parish, 88-19 Parsons Blvd, Jamaica, NY 11432, on December 23, 2025, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
The committal service will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, 127-15 Kew Gardens Rd, Kew Gardens, NY 11415, on December 23, 2025, from 11:30 am to 12:00 pm.
