

Micheline was born on October 20th,1940, in Petionville Haiti to Rene Kersaint and Lina Laurent-Kersaint first born of her parents and the eldest of her siblings.
Micheline came to the U.S. in the early 70's and lived a fulfilling life as a Mother, Aunt, Godmother, Sister, Grandmother, Great grandmother, Care Giver as she worked as a Home Health Aid for over 25 years and a friend to many.
Micheline loved to entertain, she enjoyed knitting, dancing, listening to Kompa music and praying but what she enjoyed the most was cooking and baking for her family for Sunday dinners.
Micheline is survived by her loving family; her son Ralph Tatre, her baby sister Mimose Charles, her god daughter Samantha Adams, her grandchildren: Fabienne Chery, Justin and Joel Tatre; her great grandson Elijah Chery Lee. Micheline is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews whom she helped raise. She was preceded in death by siblings Elsa (Tiza), Jacqueline and her only brother Robert (Uncle Tibert).

A visitation for Micheline will be held Wednesday, July 12, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at R. Stutzmann & Son, 224 39 Jamaica Ave, Queens Village, NY 11428. A funeral service will occur Wednesday, July 12, 2023 from 12:00 PM to 1:30 PM, 224 39 Jamaica Ave, Queens Village, NY 11428. A committal service will occur Wednesday, July 12, 2023 from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM at All Souls Chapel & Crematory, 72-02 Astoria Boulevard S, East Elmhurst, NY 11370.
