Ramdass Bhoopsingh

On February 11, 1961, at age thirty, he married Rosemary Sukhu aka Dorothy. They were married for 62 years and was blessed with four children, his late son Shastri; Vejay, Desiree and Raphael.

He was a loving and devoted husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, sibling, friend and mentor. Ramdass migrated to the United States in 1983, where he continued his life with his children.

On July 9th, 2024 at 2:10 AM, he was called to be with the Lord. He is survived by his three children, eight grandchildren; Zachary, Taylor, Brianna, Leah, Kaitlin, Ethan, Shawn and Aaron and two great grandchildren; Liam and Lily.

His passing is a tremendous loss to our family and we will remember his words of wisdom in everything we do. May the almighty god grant blessing unto him and may he rest in his final abode in heaven.

You are truly one of the great's dad. May your soul rest in everlasting peace!

A visitation for Ramdass will be held Friday, July 12, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM at R. Stutzmann & Son, 224-39 Jamaica Ave, Queens Village, NY 11428. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 8:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the funeral home followed by the committal service at Maple Grove Cemetery, 127-15 Kew Gardens Rd, Kew Gardens, NY 11415 at 11:30am.
