Yvonne Mae Heath passed away on May 9, 2024 in Long Island, New York. Born to George and Daisy Parkinson on April 16, 1948, in Frome, Westmoreland, Jamaica, Yvonne’s life was a tapestry of dedication, love, and service.
Yvonne served as the First Lady of the New Testament Church of God Healing and Deliverance Ministries in Plainfield, New Jersey, for 35 years. In addition, she shaped young minds as an educator, leaving an indelible mark on countless students in Jamaica, the Bahamas, and the United States.
Predeceased by her parents and her brothers Neville, Gussy, and Albert, Yvonne’s memory is honored by her devoted husband Bishop Jeremiah Heath; her children, Dr. Oneca Heath-Phillip (Bruce), Nasengae Heath, and Jerryanne Heath Chiume (Nathan); and her grandchildren, Bryon, Danielle, Dorian, Jessie, and Caleb.
A visitation will be held on Friday, May 24, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at R. Stutzmann & Son, 224 39 Jamaica Ave, Queens Village, New York 11428.
Services to celebrate Yvonne’s life will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2024 at Hempstead Assembly of God, 656 Front Street, Hempstead, New York 11550 with a brief viewing at 8:30 am followed by a service at 9:00 AM. Burial and Repass immediately to follow after service.
