Mr Earl William Barrus

Born and educated in Boston. He was a long time employee of Sears and also owned and operated A-1 Appliance for 40 years. Earl enjoyed spending time with his family and puttering around his yard. He was a devoted Red Sox fan.

He was married to the late Dorothy L. (Pierce) Barrus for 60 years prior to her passing in 2013. He is survived by his loving children, Diane Pratt and her husband Jerry, Patricia O’Connor and her husband Larry, Robert Barrus and William Barrus and his wife Cindy. Dear brother of Marilyn Johnson. Devoted grandfather of Tracy, Billy and his wife Jessie, Janine, Krystal, Billy Jr. and Derek, also survived by 2 great grandchildren Matthew and Alexandra. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours will be held in the Deware Funeral Home 576 Hancock St. QUINCY on Tuesday December 2nd from 4:00 to 8:p.m. A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Tuesday.
