Kathleen Gillard

Daughter of the late Edwin and Sadie Wood. Proceeded in death by her husband Henry Gillard and her daughter Donna Marie Gillard. She is survived by her 5 children, Susan Dyson and her husband Paul of Stoughton, Sandra Gaudiano and her husband Daniel of Hanson, Steven Gillard and his wife Deborah of Sebec, Maine, Mark Gillard and his wife Jewel of Pembroke and Julie Ventosi and her husband Thomas of Quincy. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Kathleen was an avid Boston Bruins and Boston Red Sox fan, and enthusiastic Elvis fan. In her free time she enjoyed crocheting and reading. She also donated to numerous charities including The Cam Neely Foundation and St Jude’s.

Visiting hours will take place on Friday July 7, from 4-6 pm. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 8 at 10:00AM at Deware Funeral Home, 576 Hancock St, Quincy, MA 02170. Interment will follow at St Joseph Cemetery in West Roxbury.
