Mrs. Paine was born in Boston and made her home in Quincy with her beloved husband of 43 years Robert E. Paine. She was predeceased by her parents Thomas Hart and Lillian (Corrao) Hart. Lillian enjoyed traveling with her husband, she had an affinity for the arts, she loved design, wrote short stories and was a published poet. Lillian also played the piano well and did so on many Holidays.
She will be fondly remembered by her family as an animal lover, a sweet and gentle person with a kind smile and a wonderful sense of humor.
She is survived by her devoted husband Robert E. Paine of Quincy. She was the loving sister of Thomas Hart and his wife Carolyn of Marshfield, she also leaves behind a nephew Thomas Hart and his wife Candace of Virginia, niece Lisa Grisolia and her husband Michael of Rockland, Grand Nieces and Nephews Adrianne, Nicholas, Melissa, Lauren, Patrick, Lucas and Charlotte, who were very well loved and enjoyed for visits and occasions.
Funeral from the Deware Funeral Home, 576 Hancock St, Quincy on Tuesday November 30. Visiting hour from 8:30-9:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will be held in Holy Trinity Parish, Our Lady of Good Counsel Church, 227 Sea St, Quincy at 10:00 AM. Interment to follow in New Calvary Cemetery, Boston.
