Matthew Joseph Perkins

Matthew Joseph Perkins age 28, of Plympton, MA. Died April 8, 2014 in the Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth after a long illness. Born September 10, 1985 in Lawton, Oklahoma he is the son of Harold S. Perkins II and Juliet Joy (Aubin) Perkins. Matthew resided in Waltham with his parents until 1990, when he moved to Assonet for several years, then to Plymouth for over 9 years and then to Plympton a year and half ago.

Matthew was associated with Crystal Springs School for several years and loved music, swimming. A special soul, he enjoyed color and movement as well as personal contact, one on one with his friends and family.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his paternal grandmother Marian R. Perkins of West Bath, ME, Maternal grandfather Donald E. Aubin of FL. Uncles Richard S. Perkins and David E. Aubin, aunts Lisa G. Aubin and Dixie Lee Barrett and several cousins.

A Memorial Service will be held in the Plymouth United Methodist Church 29 Carver Road Plymouth on Friday May 2nd at 11:30 a.m. Relatives and friends invited.
