Anna Lee Godfrey

Mrs. Anna Lee Godfrey of Pembroke died Thursday, April 23, 2014 in Scotland Memorial in Laurinburg at the age of 77. Mrs. Anna Lee Godfrey was born in Robeson County on February 17, 1937 to the Willie and Flora Jacobs. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Godfrey, her daughter, Regina McCormick, one son William C. Godfrey, a granddaughter Kerisha N. Godfrey. Survivors include her sons Robert L. Godfrey (Sabrina), Darrell Godfrey ( Melissa), Casey Godfrey ( Brittney) daughters Beverly Godfrey Jacob and Mona Lisa Godfrey ( Gene), Five Sisters Emma Lee McRae (Roscoe), Nancy Hampton (James) Judy Pearson (Steve), Margaret Gardner (John) and Mary Sue Hersey ( Robert). One brother Dallas Jacobs ( Mattie) 13 grandchildren and 12 great grand children and 1 great great grandchild. Public viewing will be held from 12 to 6:00pm and a Visitation will be Saturday evening from 6:00 until 9:00 p.m. at Crumpler Funeral Home, 220 E. 4th Ave, Red Springs, NC. Funeral service will be 2:00 p.m., Sunday, April 27, 2014 Crumpler Funeral Home in Red Springs N.C. burial will follow in the Jacobs Family Cemetery in Pembroke N.C.
