Mrs. Beverly Hawkins, 69, of Raeford, passed way Saturday, July 2, 2011, in her home. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her greatest joy was her family. She is survived by her husband of 51 years, Robert 'Pete' Hawkins, four children: Dawn Isbell (her husband Mike Isbell) of West Lafayette, Indiana, Pete Hawkins of Fayetteville, Donnie Hawkins of Fayetteville, Karrie Hawkins Chavis (her husband Mike Chavis) of Fayetteville, nine grandchildren Jennifer, Scott, Brandi, Kayla, Dillion, Brooke, Kevin, Robert, Ashton, two great grandchildren, Chase and Caden, her sister Shirley Robbins (her husband Norman Robbins) of North Wilksboro, NC and a host of other relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at the home 3060 Golf Course Road, Raeford, and also after the service at the funeral home. A memorial service will be held 4:00 p.m., Thursday, July 7, 2011 at the Crumpler Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. James Wilhide officiating.
