David Allen Porter

David Allen Porter, 35, went to join his Lord, on the morning of March 9, 2016. David was born August 28, 1980, in Cocoa Beach, Fl. He traveled extensively with his parents, due to his fathers military service. David was baptized in 1993 at Faith Baptist Church of Hinesville, GA. He attended Seventy-First High school and Fayetteville Technical Community College. He worked construction on several military installations for ACC Construction Co. of Augusta, GA. He loved the outdoors, always looking for an opportunity to camp and fish. He volunteered as a coach for youth baseball, football, and soccer, in Fayetteville and St. Pauls, NC. David will be remembered as a person who would do a favor for anyone. He took great pride in helping others. For this he will be greatly missed. David is survived by his son, Daniel Allen Porter of St. Pauls, NC and his parents Daniel and Katherine Porter of Fayetteville, NC. A Memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, March 19, 2016 at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 2699 Hwy 401 Bus in Raeford, NC. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a fund for Davids surviving son. Contact the family for details.
