Mrs. Dianne Smith Hedgpeth of 391 Potter Road died Friday, July 27, 2012 in her home at the age of 65. Mrs. Hedgpeth was born in Richmond County on February 15, 1947 to the late Veryl Pitts Smith and Mary Potter Smith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hedgpeth, Sr. She worked for over thirty-five years as a nurse in Hoke and Richmond Counties, and was an administrator for an assisted living home. Survivors include three sons: Troy Hedgpeth, Keith Hedgpeth and his wife Earlina, and Mitchell Hedgpeth all of Raeford. A grandson, Brandon Hedgpeth of Raeford. Visitation will be Monday, July 30, 2012 from 7:00 to 9:00pm at Crumpler Funeral Home in Raeford. Funeral Services will be11:00 AM Tuesday Morning at Raeford First Baptist Church with Reverend Tom Lee officiating. Burial will be in the Raeford Cemetery.
