

Reverend Earl A. Lupo of 310 Bethune Avenue, went to be with his Lord and Savior , Thursday, May 26, 2011 in his home at the age of 84. Mr. Lupo was born in Robeson County, NC on November 10, 1926 to the late Alfred Edgar Lupo and Lola Scott Lupo. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Peggy Lupo and his sister, Carolyn Miller. Mr. Lupo served in the US Navy during WWII, and went into the ministry serving several churches before he retired. He was formally the owner of Carolina Auto Parts in Winston-Salem. A special thanks to Liberty Hospice and his longtime family physician, Dr. Marcus Lowry. Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Sue Neal Snipes Lupo of Raeford, a son, Edwin Lupo (Judy) of Rural Hall; a granddaughter, Melissa Martin Troxler of Eden: a grandson, Stacy Martin of Raeford; a great granddaughter, Savannah Troxler of Eden; and six brothers, William 'W.C.' Lupo (Geraldine) of Pinehurst, David Lupo (Betty Jean) of St. Pauls, Gerald Lupo (Jackie) of Raeford, Joe Lupo (Linda) of Fayetteville, Jimmy Lupo (Barbara) of Pinebluff, and Wade Lupo (Phyllis) of Aberdeen; and two sisters, Edna Rae Bates (Ted), and Marilyn Rose Norris (Bill), all of Aberdeen. The family will receive relatives and friends between the hours of 6:00 and 8:00 PM, Sunday, May 29, 2011 at Wagram Church of God, 21741 McKay Street, Wagram, NC Funeral Services will be 11:00 AM, Monday, May 30, 2011 in the Wagram Church of God with Rev. Harry Clark, Rev. Tex Deaton, Rev. Jerry Springs, and Rev. Arnold Hancock officiating. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery in Laurinburg, NC.
