Edward E. Jarman

Mr. Edward E. Jarman of 815 Richardson Avenue, Fayetteville died Sunday, October 24, 2010 in Carrol S. Roberson Hospice House at the age of 70. Mr. Jarman was born September 23, 1940 in Lenoir County, NC to the late John and Ruth Freeman Jarman. He was a member of Mt Gilead Baptist Church and retired from Smithfield Packaging. He was a member of the Ruritan club in Fayetteville and was an avid NASCAR Fan. He was preceded in death by his Parents and a brother, Johnny Ray Jarman. Mr Jarman was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Survivors include his wife: Karen Jarman of the home; two sons: Edward E. Jarman Jr of Kinston and Channing S. Jarman of Asheville; a daughter: Teresa F. Forrest and her husband Gerald of Kinston, NC; four sisters: Sarah Heath and her husband Gerald of Snow Hill, NC, Wanda Butler of Delton, FL, Beverly Davis of Micro, NC and Tammy Craft of Kinston, NC. He is also survived by 6 grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held 12:00 pm Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at Crumpler Funeral Home, 131 Harris Avenue, Raeford, NC with the Reverend Mitch Watson and Brother John Pabon officiating. Visitation will be held from 11:00 - 12:00 before the service and at other times at the home, 815 Richardson Avenue, Fayetteville and at the home of Teresa and Gerald Forrest, 697 Joe Nunn Rd,, Kinston, NC 28504. Burial will be in the Lafayette Memorial Park West in Fayetteville Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 8300 Health Park Road Raleigh, NC 27615.
