Mr. Edward (Doobee) Watkins of Lumber Bridge, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Friday, August 28, 2020 at FirstHealth Moore Regional hospital in Pinehurst at the age of 42.Doobee was born in Chapel Hill, NC on March 18, 1978. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Johnnie Mae McAllister, Gusta McGougan and Odell McGougan. He served in the US Navy.He is survived by his loving wife of 9 years Sharon Watkins of the home; three daughters,Sabrina Murchison of the home, Jasmine Brown Sharvara Brown both of Raeford; Five sons; Shawn Chason of the home, Trequan Brown of Raeford, NC, Trevon Purcell of Raeford, NC, Darius Brown of Chapel Hill, NC. Nickari Hunter of St. Pauls, NC; one godson ZyAire Hill of Fayetteville, NC; His mother Kathryn Ann Wakins Hill of Fayetteville, NC; His father, Antonio McGaugan of Tennessee; his step-father Wade Hill of Fayetteville, NC; three sisters, Laurea Taylor (Michael of St. Pauls, NC, Alicia McGougan and Adrienna McGougan both of Tennessee; four brothers, Wade Hill and Derrick Hill both of Fayetteville, NC, Antonio McGougan Jr. and Aaron McGougan both of Tennessee. He was loved by a host of relatives, friends nieces and nephews.
