Mr. Jack Ellis of Raeford went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at the age of 78Jack was born in Hoke County on October 2, 1942, to the late Roy Ellis and Alma Maness Ellis.He worked with Hoke County Inspection Department, Cumberland County Inspection Department and City of Raeford of Raeford Inspection Department.He is survived by his wife of 60 years Gayle M. Ellis of Raeford, NC; two sons Jack Ellis and Joey Ellis and his wife Brenda all of Raeford, NC; two daughter Lynn E. Eisenhart and her husband Ike of Codorus, PA. and Jenny E. Whichard and her husband Larry of Fuquay Varina, NC; nine grandchildren and a great grandchild; a sister Kathy McQueen and her husband William of Hope Mills, NC.A Memorial Graveside Service will be held 2 pm Saturday, March 27, 2021 at the Raeford Cemetery.In Lieu of Flowers, Memorial may made to:Hospice Foundation of Hoke County.
