Mr. John Ralph Maxwell of 1021 St. Pauls Road died Wednesday, March 2, 2011 at Pinelake Health Care and Rehab Center at the age of 81. Mr. Maxwell retired from the US Navy after over 20 years of service. Survivors are two daughters, Dawn Maxwell of Saint Louis, MO, and Renee Maxwell of Minneapolis, MN; a son, Jeff Maxwell of Raeford, NC; and three grandchildren. A memorial service will be 2:00pm, Friday, March 11, 2011 at Sandhills State Veterans Cemetery, 400 Murchison Road, Spring Lake, NC with full military honors.
