Kevin Lyle Wright

Kevin Lyle Wright, 61, died on Friday December 9, 2016. Kevin was born on April 2, 1955 in Utah. He married Sunny Wallace and together they had 2 children, Anne and Kristin. Kevin married Cherie Gnehm-Wright in 1993 and raised his two step-children Jared and Rachel as his own. Kevin served as a Special Forces Medic in the US Army and retired with 22 years of honorable service. Kevin was known for his sense of humor, strength and kindness; He was dedicated to his fellow soldiers, those he loved and his country. Three of his favorite sayings were "DE OPPRESSO LIBER"; "its just a thing"; and "stay the course". He was a fiercely proud of his children who he termed as "the best of him". He will be greatly missed. Kevin is survived by wife of 23 years Cherie Gnehm-Wright, His first wife and friend, Sunny Wallace and children, Anne and Scott, Kristin, Jared, Rachel and granddaughter Carly. Niece, Jennifer, Nephew, Christopher and several Cousins. Kevin was predeceased by his parents, Lyle and Helen, his brother Barry and sister Sheri. A memorial service will be held at the Veterans Cemetery at a later time.
