Lucille Pittman Hubbard of Morrisville, formerly of Raeford, died Wednesday, January 6, 2016 in her home at the age of 73. Mrs. Hubbard was born in Hoke County on June 10, 1942 to the late Alphus Worth Pittman and Mae Davis Pittman. She was preceded in death by two sisters and one brother. Mrs. Pittman was a member of Pittman Grove Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Lee Ann Hubbard of Morrisville; her son, Lawrence "Larry" Hubbard, Jr. of Morrisville; her grandson, Will; her brothers, Glenn Pittman (Jeanie) of Elizabeth City; Larry Pittman (Diana) of Camden; her sisters, Hazel Tucker of Hamlet; Shelby Upton (Glenn) of Camden; Dorothy Ayers (James) of Chesapeake, VA; Carolyn Whitley (Marvin) of Battleboro; several nieces, nephews, and cousins. A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, January 9, 2015 at the Pittman Family Cemetery with Pastor William Beasley officiating. The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside.
