Mamie Pendergrass Webb

Mrs. Mamie Pendergrass Webb, died Tuesday, August 9, 2011 in the Kingswood Nursing Center at the age of 91. Mrs. Webb was born in Hoke County on May 10, 1920, to the late John Marshall Pendergrass and Maude Pratt Pendergrass. She was preceded in death by her husband Reuben H. Webb and daughter, Harriett Holder. She was a member of Shiloh Presbyterian Church. She was a volunteer with Liberty Hospice in Raeford for over six years. She was employed as a nurse with the North Carolina Department of Corrections. She is survived by a son, Richard H. Webb and his wife Susan of Sanford; son in law, Clayton Holder of Pinehurst; granddaughter, Misty Warnock and husband Ken of Southern Pines; brother, Charlie Pendergrass and his wife Lucille of Raeford; several nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held Thursday, August 11, 2011 from 12:00 until 5:00 p.m. at Crumpler Funeral Home, 131 Harris Avenue, Raeford. A graveside service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday August 12, 2011at Ashley Heights Baptist Church Cemetery with Reverend Dr. Stephen Hannah officiating, directed by Crumpler Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to Shiloh Presbyterian Church Cemetery, Raeford, NC.
