Nelson Lee Royal

Mr. Nelson Lee Royal of 5141 Arabia Road died on July 25, 2012 at the age of 57. Mr. Nelson was born in Sampson County of May 24, 1955 to Wilton Lee Royal and Ona Mae Daniels Royal. Mr. Royal was a member of Ephesus Baptist Church and was a member and past master of the Masonic Lodge #308 in Red Springs. He was preceded in death by his father. He is survived by his wife, Mary (Liz) D. Royal of the home; step-son, Matthew Clark of Lumber Bridge; mother, Ona Mae Royal Edwards and her husband, Matthew of Hope Mills; brothers, Ray Royal and his wife, Wanda of Newton Grove, Wayne Royal and his wife Katryna of Greensboro, Stanford Royal of Hope Mills; sisters, Glenny Royal of Hope Mills, Tammy Fields and her husband, Jeff of Lumber Bridge; several nieces and nephews, and a host of relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 7:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. Friday, July 27, 2012 at Crumpler Funeral Home, 220 East 4th Ave, Red Springs, NC 28377. Funeral service will be held 2:00 P.M. Saturday, July 28, 2012 at the Crumpler Funeral Home Chapel, 220 East 4th Ave, Red Springs, NC 28377. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Cemetery in Newton Grove. In Lieu of Flowers, Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 950 West Faris Road Greenville, SC 29605.
