Patricia C. Rice

Patricia C. Rice, 74, of Fayetteville, NC passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at Cape Fear Valley Medical Center in Fayetteville, NC. Patsy "Pat" Rice was born in Raeford, NC to the late Pauline Hall Everett and the late William C. Clark. She was preceded in death by her sister Elizabeth "Betty" Allen, brother-in-law William D. Allen III, niece Pamela Whorley, and beloved dog, Epi-girl. Patsy is survived by sister Jackie Williamson and her husband Hank of Fayetteville, NC; niece Cathy SanMiguel and her husband Oscar of Lexington, OH their children Jeanell Dooley, Brittany Foulks, and Alyssa Frederick; nephew Danny Allen and his wife Eileen of Waxhaw, NC their sons Daniel and Drew; nephew Major Brett Williamson and his wife Mickie of Mobile, AL their daughters Abby and Chloe; niece Julie Williamson of Fayetteville, NC her children Isabelle and Grayson; cousins Anne Meador, Jimmy Jenkins, and Carolyn Acquistapace of CA; 4 great-great nieces and nephew; Pats family of friends from the James E. Strates Shows, Conklin Shows, and North American Midway Shows. Pat enjoyed her career of over 45 years in the Outdoor Amusement business. Over the years she had various jobs including riding an elephant, in charge of payroll, and office manager just to name a few. She cared about all of the employees and was everybodys go to. While on the road Miss Pat was everybodys mom away from home. They were all her family. Patsy was a beloved sister, Aunt, and friend. She was deeply loved and will be deeply missed. There will be a graveside service Sunday, June 14, 2015 at 2pm at the Raeford Cemetery, 600 East Central Ave, Raeford, NC. In lieu of flowers donations may be made, in her honor, to the ASPCA by visiting aspca.org. Care of the family is entrusted to Crumpler Funeral Home-Raeford.
