Paul Joseph Dattari

Paul was born in Yonkers, Westchester County, New York, the son of Paul Philip Dattari and Gertrude Edna Dattari. Paul Dattari lived his life in service with prison ministry, church groups, and serving his beloved country in the Vietnam War.

Devoted to his grandchildren and his dear Yankees, and a true music lover, Paul was a real estate novelist who spent most of his career as a real estate title searcher. A poet and a published author, Paul was known for always making people feel seen, heard, and loved. Paul loved going to church and had an extraordinarily close relationship with God. His second home was Rockfish Church in Raeford.

Paul is survived by his daughter, Katrina Macy, son-in-law, Brad Macy, and grandchildren Julianna and Jaxon; his brother Bernard Dattari; and his sister Marie Dattari Ryan, with many nephews and nieces, as well as many close friends. Predeceased by his brother, Norman Dattari.

A visitation will be held from 10:30 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, December 20th, 2025 at RockFish Church 9949 Fayetteville Rd, Raeford, NC 28376.

A memorial service will follow at 12:00 pm with military honors.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Independence Fund in Paul’s memory.
