Peggy Ann Hicks of Raeford went home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, February 15, 2021 at her home at the age of 73.Peggy was born August 21, 1947 in Lenoir, NC, to the late Clarence Odell Davis and Cathleen Williams Adamson. She was preceded in death by her sister Judy Fisher. Peggy was a member of Rockfish Church and retired as a bookkeeper at Sandy Grove Elementary in Hoke County.Peggy is survived by her husband of 50 years Dortch Allen (Junior) Hicks, Jr of Raeford, NC; Melissa Hicks of Raeford, NC; a son Greg Hicks and his wife Linda of Raeford, NC; 3 grandchildren, Toby Hicks, Hollee Hicks and Gloria Hicks all of Raeford, NC; a sister Carol Boucher of Raeford, NC; a stepbrother Scott Adamson of SC, several nieces, and nephews.And beloved cat of 14 years, Fred.A visitation will be held from 11:00 am until 12:00 noon on Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Crumpler Funeral Home in Raeford.Funeral service will follow at 12:00 noon at the Funeral Home.
