Dateline: Lumber Bridge Mr. Cecil Davis of 8168 St. Pauls Road, died Thursday, October 13, 2011 at his home at the age of 60. Mr. Davis was born in Hoke County on June 18, 1951. He was preceded in death by his father, Jefferson Davis and his brother Bobby Davis. Survivors include his wife, Ann G. Davis of Raeford; two sons, Robert A. Davis and Donald E. Davis both of Lumber Bridge; his mother, Dennie M. Davis of Lumber Bridge; one brother, Ronnie L. Davis of Lumber Bridge; two sister, Bertha Mae Pandure of Raeford and Janice D. Howard of Lumber Bridge. Visitation will be held from 5:00 until 6:00 pm on Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Crumpler Funeral Home in Raeford. A Memorial Service will be held 6:00 pm Saturday, October 15, 2011 at Crumpler Funeral Home, 131 Harris Ave. Raeford, NC with Reverend Dwight Jackson officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to, American Lung Association of North Carolina, P.O. Box 27985, Raleigh, NC 27611.
