Richard Allen Archer, ""Wolf Man"", the loving Husband, proud Father, Goofy Grandpa, Harley riding accomplished Body Man, passed in peace at the age of 62 in Raeford, NC on Sunday, August 2nd, 2020.Rick was born in Washington County, Tennessee on Monday, April 7th, 1958 to the late Ivan Archer Sr. and Barbara Archer Gordy. Rick was proceeded in death by his, stepfather, Charles Gordy, brother, Ivan Eugene Archer Jr. sister, Brenda McCura and two nephews.Rick grew up with his brothers Gene and Chuck, along with his sister Brenda.Rick had the opportunity to touch the lives of many and few could ever forget the impact that he left on our lives. Rick married several times and finally to Darlene Clements. Rick passed away as a proud father and stepfather of 6 children. Rick's love and compassion knew no boundaries. He was blessed with a loving family that produced many nieces and nephews which he loved dearly. Throughout his life he never hesitated to fill the role of Uncle Rick or Grandpa to many children that found comfort in his affection. He was known as Papa, Grandpa, and G-Pa to over 45 children.Rick briefly served in the United States Army and ultimately became an accomplished Auto Collision repair technician and gaining many close friends along the way.Rick is survived by his loving wife Darlene Archer, his children Mark, Jennifer, Candice, Justin, Michael, Duana, his brother Chuck Gordy and several nieces, and nephews. A memorial service will be held 11:00 am Saturday, August 8, 2020 at Crumpler Funeral Home Chapel, 131 Harris Avenue, Raeford, NC
