

Mr. Roger L. Hamm, age 62 of 210 East 5th Avenue Red Springs, died Sunday, April 14, 2013 at his home. Mr. Hamm was born in Kinston, NC on September 19, 1950, to the late Freddie and Ella Gay Hamm. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the First Baptist Church in Red Springs, Currently the Master of the Masonic Lodge # 501 in Red Springs, and The Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter # 8 in Red Springs. Survivors are his wife, Joyce H. Hamm of Red Springs, NC; three sons, Harry C. Dew and his wife Debbie of Clayton, NC., Chris D. Dew and his wife Autumn of Dunn, NC., and Michael Hamm and his wife Jennifer of Greensboro, NC.; two brothers, Bobby Hamm and his wife Lou of Maysville, NC. and Randy Hamm and his wife Diana of Minot,ND.; six grandchildren, Thomas Dew and his wife Alicia, Kyle Dew, Jakob Dew, Jared Dew, Brooke Ellis and Jason Ellis,; 1 Great Grandson, Lucas Dew. Visitation will be held from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 at Crumpler Serenity Funeral Home, 220 East 4th Avenue, Red Springs, NC Funeral Services will be held 2:00pm on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at the First Baptist Church in Red Springs with Reverend Bradley Boberg officiating. Burial will be in the Alloway Cemetery with Masonic Rites and Military Honors.
