Angelene "Angie" P. Bullock

Angelene P. Bullock “Angie”, 76, died on May 19, 2014. Angie is survived by her loving husband, James L. Bullock “Jim”, son, William Troy Wright, step sons, James Scott Bullock and Roger Lee Bullock, nine grandchildren, and two great grandchildren.

Angie was born in Rocky Mount, NC, but lived her life in Raleigh. She worked for First Citizens bank for 32 years and retired as a Vice President in charge of payroll and personnel. After retiring from the bank, Angie became a dog groomer, owning her own shop for 15 years before retiring again. She loved animals and raised and showed cats.

A person who was a rock and friend in Angie’s life was Cathy Griffin, who was like a sister to her. Thank you Cathy for the love you had for her. Her best and dearest friend was Mary Francis Ham who always brought joy to her.

The love Angie had for Laura Wright was present when her smile would light up the room seeing her. Laura was much more than a daughter-in-law.

Angie and Jim would like to express their deepest love and appreciation for everyone at Community Hospice for the help and support which made Angie’s life so much fuller.

A visitation will be held from 10:00-11:30am on Thursday, May 22, 2014 at Raleigh Memorial Park Chapel Mausoleum, 7501 Glenwood Ave, Raleigh, NC. The service will begin at 11:30am.

In lieu of flowers, Angie would have loved for donations to be sent to “Safe Haven for Cats” 8431 Garvey Drive, Raleigh, NC 27616.

The love of my life will always be with me. Thank you my love-Jim.
