Balaji worked at Bridge-X Technologies. He enjoyed playing chess, bridge and scramble. Above all, he adored his family, twin baby girls, his beloved wife and his dear nieces and nephew. He will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
Balaji is survived by his wife, Sumitra Srinivasan; his 8 month old twin daughters, Aditi and Ankita; his mother Madhuram Sankar; sisters, Usha Sankar and husband Ravi Subramanya, of New York, and Raji Sankar and husband D. Sekar, of New Jersey. He will also be lovingly remembered by his nieces, nephew and many close friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Gopalakrishnan Sankar.
The funeral service and celebration of Balaji's life will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday March 11, at the Chapel of Brown Wynne Funeral Home, 300 St. Mary's Street, Raleigh NC 27605.
