So sorry for your loss Ved, Rishi & Sophie, sending you healing prayers of comfort and peace.  Cannot believe that Binny is not here anymore.  When Ashwin & I moved to Cary,  NC. she welcomed us with open arms, and pampered me with Parathas and Lassi while I was pregnant.  Binny you still owe a video cassette 'Out Of Africa' to Ashwin.  Reminiscing so many memories of us.  We will miss you and your bright smile.

So sorry to hear the sad news about Pinki Didi. She was a loving person. A lot of beautiful memories of her are with us. We used to wait for them every weekend . May god give her eternal peace and strength to the family to bear her loss.Her chacha uncle (Raj uncle) is also sending his condolences. She will live in our hearts forever.

Our hearts go out to you in the loss of Peggy.  Your obituary captured the beauty of her life.  We could have not asked more from a neighbor or friend.  She was quite a good listener in sharing life together.  We will always remember how she looked after our son Chris when he was little and spoiled him with love and treats.  She related well to both of our sons growing up.  They loved her.  Peggy had a gift for hospitality and opened her home to us many times for special gatherings.  She shared her culture with us and her love of Bollywood movies.  Once she gave me  Indian cooking lessons!  We remember how excited she was about creating a fountain and gardens in her back yard.  We pray that you will be comforted by friends and memories during this difficult time. You are a very special family to us and we grieve with you.        Laura and Drew Robinson

Strangely enough, on this last Saturday, I was searching for a picture of Philip's graduation in my photo collection, when I unwittingly picked up this photo of Pinky and myself in the verandah at her house in Patel Nagar before they moved upstairs at Grandpa's house, singling it out for a brief moment in time,  then replacing it quietly in the huge pile, -this was truly on the day she left this world. Therefore, am sharing this with the rest of the family and with Ved Bhaya and family, along with the haunting tunes of her favorite song, 'Summer Wine,' which we used to play and hum to, during those balmy summer days at Patel Nagar, in our school holidays...Rest in peace, free of pain, dear cousin.

I am really sad to know about Pinky Didi.  What a wonderful person.  This must be heartbreaking for Ved Bhaisaab, Rishi and Sophia.  Please accept my condolences.  May God give you the strength to bear this loss.  She will always live in our memories as a princess.

Such an honor to have met you during our trip to your home town some years ago, at the hotel, and for lunch, catching up on old memories of Delhi, and our childhood. Was just looking at some old photos of yourself and me in the verandah of the Patel Nagar home in New Delhi, which Papa took of both of us. I remember your dog Julie, and how we talked about Hindi movies late into the night, as well as books, when I stayed upstairs at Patel Nagar during the winter holidays. Remember standing on the upstairs back verandah during the dust-storms, looking out towards the street, and listening to the wire-mesh doors creaking as the wind howled, and we hastened indoors. Poignant memories of a beautiful cousin, who will forever remain in our hearts and memories. With heartfelt condolences to Ved Bhaya and family, from Rima, Kaushik and Philip.
