

Carol Anne Stamper, 15, passed away January 11, 2012 in a tragic car accident. Born on May 10, 1996 in Raleigh; she was the treasured daughter of Mark and Lynn Stamper, of Raleigh and Tammy and Mike Fitzpatrick, of Pilot Mountain. She was such a wonderful sister to Madelyn, Jon and David of Raleigh; and Isaiah and Josiah Daniel of Pilot Mountain.
Carol was also the beloved granddaughter of Leonard Stamper and the late Carol Stamper; Sandra J McCarthy; Alice and Robert Van Buren; and Marion Fitzpatrick.
Left to cherish her memory are numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends. She loved her pets~ Max, Farleigh, Winnie and Bambi.
Carol truly cherished the times she spent with her siblings. Jon and David have great memories of laughing with her on their recent car trip to Boston. Madelyn loved being her only “Little Sis” so much and Carol loved having a little sister. Though their time together was so short they had formed such a special bond. Carol loved to visit Isaiah and Josiaih in Pilot Mountain and share stories.
Carol was a sophomore at Enloe High School; active in art, music, the GSA, drama and acting. Carol was full of imagination and creativity. She was very unique in so many ways and even as a young adult was very comfortable with whom she was. She expressed herself through playing her guitar and was a prolific writer. One of her favorite hobbies was reading.
Carol will be truly missed.

The family would like friends and family to gather on Sunday afternoon, January 15th from 2:00 – 4:00 PM at Mitchell Funeral Home in Raleigh. Private Memorial Services will be held by the family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the SPCA of Wake County – 200 Petfinder Road – Raleigh, NC 27603.
