Christine Jones Nipper, 85, of Garner died Saturday, January 19, 2013 at her home surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Nipper was born on January 27, 1927 in Franklin Co, NC to Alexander Herman Hill and Bessie Mae Wheeler Hill.
She is survived by her children: Marlene Thaller of Michigan, Helen Bowen and husband, Ray of Garner, Ann Peace and husband, Bennie of Raleigh; and J. B. Jones of Garner. She is also survived by her 13 grandchildren, and 21 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Nipper is preceded in death by her husband, Jesse H. Jones, Jr., daughter, Vicky Gail Jones, and great grandson, P. J. Denton.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 pm Monday, January 21, 2013 at Brown-Wynne Funeral Home, 300 St. Mary’s St. Raleigh.
A graveside service will be held 2:00 pm Tuesday, January 22, 2013 in Jones Family Cemetery, Wake Forest NC.
