Daniel Holland Snyder
Dan Snyder died July 17, 2014. Dan grew up in Raleigh, graduated from Hugh Morson High School, attended NC State and graduated from Barton College (Atlantic Christian College). He worked for IBM for 36 years. Dan is survived by his wife, Sandra Bunn Snyder, two daughters—Stuart Unkenholz (John), Nancy Stavrakakis (George), five grandchildren—Ally, Andrew, Ashley Unkenholz – Elizabeth and Katherine Stavrakakis. He is also survived by a sister - Ann Savage and two half-sisters – Mary Ann Sigler and Holly Hassinger. A Memorial Service will be held at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 7000 Creedmoor Rd. on Monday, July 21, 2014 at 2:00 pm. There will be a reception/visitation after the service in the church fellowship hall. Memorials may be made to the Children’s Home Society of NC, PO Box 14608, Greensboro, NC 27415 or to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, 7000 Creedmoor Rd., Raleigh, NC 27612. The family requests no flowers. A special thanks to the caregivers at Spring Arbor of Apex and to Transitions Life Care for the love and care shown to Dan.
