When I think of Dan I always think of a person fully engaged in the moment.  Our families have known each other since our eldest entered daycare together (14 years).  During this time Dan always cared for everyone around him.  He is the dad who plays with the kids, cooks a meal for people and shows up at the boys' sporting events.  One of my fondest memories was Dan cooking Chicken Parm for one of our dinners together.  I went to an Italian restaurant with Alex and the chef came out and asked how the Chicken Parm was.  Alex told the chef "not as good as Mr. Dan's." 
 I told Dan that and he cooked this meal (which is time consuming) multiple times for us as he knew Alex loved it so.  He is that person who shows up for others, consistently- generously.  We are gutted by his loss.  Our love and support to Jenn, Tyler and Justin who now have to move forward without their dad and spouse who loves so fully. I served with Dan at Camp Lejeune and have great memories of our time there. I was even with him when he got his first car in Wilmington, NC. He was a great guy who liked to have fun. More importantly, he was genuine and cared deeply for his family and friends. My thoughts and prayers go out to everyone as you cope with this loss.

Gonna miss you Dan, I’ll always remember how you kept things exciting on the sidelines at flag!

I got to know Dan when I was working for an automotive finance company, I knew him for over 4 years and he was just a good person that had a great personality, attitude, and was always in a good mood. I will miss you Dan and my condolences to the Antonio's family. Until next time, may you rest in peace.

We were so saddened to hear the news of Danny’s passing. I remember standing up with Dan for Natalie and Johnny’s wedding.  He was such a wonderful person.  Our deepest condolences for the family.

I must say this news really saddens me. I met Dan back in 1995. We worked together at a pizza place in the mall just outside of Binghamton, NY. I think it was called Villa Pizza. Dan was a great guy. Real genuine. Many good times and laughs. I moved away a few years later and haven’t seen him since except for here on Facebook. I’m so sorry you were taken so soon. Still so young. My deepest condolences to your family and children Dan Antonios. You will be missed.

i met dan when i moved to nc a long time ago
we just became friends , hes good nature and self reflection just made it easy to understand him ...a good man
life moved on and and i moved away ..however when i thought of who i wanted to stand with me getting married ..he was there 
i cannot go back in time to when we lost track ..but i wish i could ..
i would tell him thanks ..instead of goodbye

Dan loved his family like no other father and husband has. I’m so deeply saddened to hear of his departure and can only hope that everyone can find peace, in time. 49 is far too young and this will be deeply difficult to understand; maybe as time passes. Dan was one of the people I’ve met through my career that I can say that I truly loved and enjoyed their company. May you rest in peace, Dan. May your wife and sons find comfort in knowing that Dan was loved by everyone - he truly was one of the good guys.

I am shocked and very saddened by the passing of Dan. I worked with Dan for 8 years and knew him for 20 years. Dan was a good hearted soul who loved his family. He was an excellent salesman, a great coworker and an all around good guy. I will miss Dan. May God’s Peace be with his wife, his children and all of the family and friends he has left behind.

I went to high school with Dany.  He was always smiling. He’d also put smiles on many people’s faces as well.  Dany told some funny stories, wish I could recall any of them now.  I can’t remember him having a bad day,
He will be remembered and missed. My condolences to the family.

dany was one of my second of friends  who I met through chad kopcik in Johnson city New York   he came from a great family loved by all. I always remember him at the bar oasis when we got chicken wings  what fun we had back in the day.  I'm going to tell you a real funny story about this great man . Chad and I went drinking back in the day like we all did ,we came back to Chad apartment and Chad was drunk so dany said sit down Chad was so drunk he took a swing at dany,,and dany said to me did you see that ,dany face was priceless to this  day to me the look was so funny at me made me laugh and I dropped Chad because I was laughing at danys look!anyway you were the best dany.  you will missed loved ones and all , see you on there other side my friend, missed and loved by all . I am so sorry for your loss and please pass our condolence's to the family.  Dan and I grew up together and played soccer and spent a ton of time together. This is very sad, still can’t believe it.

My heart is broken as I know you left us too soon. I know you were so loved by your family and friends. I will forever be grateful for the memories, moments, and smiles we shared together.
