

Domonick is survived by his parents, Dale & Sharon Turner; brother, Jonathon Nantz; sister Jacklyn Metsker and husband, Mike, nieces, Pyper and Emma; and wife, Elizabeth VanDijk (Turner) and numerous other extended family members of which include the U.S. Army.
Domonick is a veteran of the U.S. Army and served two tours of duty in Afghanistan under the 122nd Aviation Support Battalion, 82nd Combat & Aviation Brigade. He was an avid motorcyclist, outdoor adventurer, loved traveling the world and was passionately connected to children and dogs.
Domonick was a very special person and will be remembered for his special ability to make friends instantly with anyone he met. He will be greatly missed by all those that knew him.
A Celebration of Life, with military honors, will be held on Saturday, November 21, 2015 at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Ave., Raleigh, NC 27612 at 1:00 p.m. The family will receive friends immediately following.
