Emily Lloyd Lloyd Stephens

Emily Lloyd Stephens was called home to heaven on April 9, 2014. Psalm 116:15 Precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his Saints. Emily was born April 5, 1939 in Raleigh, NC. A graveside service will be held at 11 am Monday, April 21, 2014 at Montlawn Memorial Park, 2911 South Wilmington Street, Raleigh, NC with the Rev. J. Michael Carter officiating. Visitation will be 7-8:30 pm Sunday, April 20, 2014 at Brown Wynne Funeral Home, 300 St. Mary’s Street, Raleigh, NC.

Ms. Stephens was the only child of Janie Knight Lloyd and Ricaud McKoy Lloyd, both deceased. She is survived by an Aunt, Harriett Cline (Arthur) of Lewiston, New York and several cousins plus her beloved cat, P. J.

Ms. Stephens graduated from Needham Broughton High School and was employed with W. T. Grant Company. She then began working with Corning\AVX for approximately 40 years. She was a member of Watkins Chapel Baptist Church, Middlesex, N.C. She was an avid North Carolina State fan.

She would want each and every one of you to know that the promise of eternal life can be yours just by believing in the one true Savior, Jesus Christ.
