

She was a kind and gentle woman who dedicated her life to caring, nurturing and mentoring others. Eulaline was born on 26th December 1938 in Mara, Berbice, Guyana. She attended the New Amsterdam All Saints School during her younger years. She was the eldest child of Mrs. Betty Outar and her father Mr. Ramsahoye.
Eulaline worked for 20 years at Chu’s Variety Store as a Pastry Chef and then proceeded to work as an Office Assistant at docol/AINLIM Inc. until 1997 when she moved to Nashua, New Hampshire. She was actively involved at Grace Lutheran Church Nashua.
In 2006, Eulaline moved to Raleigh, North Carolina and began attending the Grace Lutheran Church Raleigh. Outside of work, Eula was a caring, witty woman who was responsible for raising man young family members and her own offspring. During her teenage years she enjoyed the movies, dancing, and socializing with friends. She loved going to church and was an active choir participant at Saint Timothy Lutheran Church where she also taught Sunday school.
As a mother of 2 sons, she also enjoyed political canvassing, attending live theatre shows, and hosting youth table tennis players & Luther League members at her home during national events.
As the Matriarch, she will be remembered for her sacrificing ways, the way she cared for and raised so many family members, and her brave guidance as the eldest of several. She leaves behind a legacy of love, strength, perseverance, and wisdom. She will be greatly missed and we will cherish her memory always.
She is survived by her son, Patrick (Yonette) Naurayan; grandchildren, Danielle & Matthew; nieces, (Sheryl, Vennie, Gwinette, Odetta, Marcia, Lestra, Tracy, Lydia, Christine and others); nephews, Wesley, Nolan, Trevor, Maxwell, Von, Rashleigh, Rocky, Cornell, Ryan, Raymond and others; siblings, Sheila (Jimmy) Jordan, Kenneth (Bernice) Dhanraj, Gerry (Suroj) Outar, Ivor(Jessie) Outar, Rita (Fitz) Henry, Omarnauth (Sabo) Outar, Lennox (Baby) Outar & Joan (Shridat) Rajcoomar; and cousins, Esther, Joycelyn, Herman, Joan, Morris, Jacob, Fred, Devi, Sandra, Denise, Karen, Michael, Janice, Kenrick and others.
Eulaline is preceded in death by her mother, Betty Outar; brothers, Raymond, Errol & Tyrone, her son, Peter, and her sister, Sharon.
A Funeral Service will be held at Grace Lutheran Church on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at a time to be announced. Burial will follow in Raleigh Memorial Park. The services will be livestreamed, instructions to join livestream are forthcoming. The family will receive visitors Friday, January 30, 2026 at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Avenue, time to be announced.
