Faye Rose Langford

We are grateful she is at peace and without pain.

Faye was born on January 19, 1942, to Stella Williams Rose and Marvin Peete Rose in Norlina, NC. After graduating from Norlina High School, she went on to study at Chowan College. After moving to Raleigh, she met the love of her life, Phil Langford. They were married in 1970, and a year later their only daughter Kimberley was born. Phil and Faye enjoyed 48 years of marriage until 2018, when Phil preceded her in death. That journey together was filled with trips around the world, boating, enjoying friends, family, and building an insurance agency together.

Faye had a love for being the best host and a love for music. One of her many gifts was singing in the choir. She also enjoyed being the gift fairy and was always sending thank you notes in the mail and birthday cards.

Faye is survived by her daughter, Kimberley (Rick) Angeli of Waxhaw, NC; her only grandchild, Samantha Angeli of Wilmington, NC.; her brother, Ronald (Ellen) of Apex, NC; two nephews, David (Jennifer) Rose of Apex, NC and Benjamin (Deborah) Rose of Angier, NC; and David’s children, Katelyn and Ryan Rose.

Services will be held at Mitchell Funeral Home at 7209 Glenwood Avenue, Raleigh, NC on Sunday, November 13th at 2:00 PM with reception to follow.

A private graveside burial will take place at a future date.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in her name to www.project2heal.org an organization that Faye loved dearly as a reflection of her love of Labrador Retrievers.
