Frances Karrie Weaver

Frances Karrie Weaver, 98, of Raleigh, passed away Monday, April 22, 2013. A native of Gaston County, she was born August 24, 1914 to the late Robert A. and Margaret Jane O’Hare Weaver. Frances spent more than 30 years as the treasurer at JW Weaver Co. Inc. After retiring, she spent a lot of her time and effort at Trinity UMC doing church activities. She also enjoyed cooking, gardening, walking, and going on sightseeing trips.

Frances is survived by a nephew, Robert W. Weaver and wife, Julianne; great nephews, Joshua W. Weaver, James R. Weaver, Dan W. Upchurch, Dave Upchurch, and Jon Upchurch; great niece, Amy Harrelson; 4 great great nephews; and 2 great great nieces. In addition to her parents, Frances was preceded in death by a brother, Jacob W. Weaver; sister in law, Frances I. Weaver; sister, Mae Weaver; and her niece, Kay W. Upchurch.

A Funeral Service will be held Friday, April 26, 2013 at 2:00PM at Trinity United Methodist Church, 824 N. Bloodworth St., Raleigh, NC 27604. The family will receive friends for an hour prior from 1-2:00PM at the church. Interment will follow at Raleigh Memorial Park.
