“Frankie” was the beloved son of Frank and Cindy Wall of Raleigh and the brother (in-law) to Torrey (James) Wall of London, Gabrielle (Ryan) Harvey-Wall of Ann Arbor, Michigan, Liam Wall of Raleigh, Georgia Wall of Raleigh, and Anthony Wall of London. He was adored by his Aunt Carmey Ground, of Nashville, TN.
He leaves behind his grandmother, Mary Batten, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and his two treasured cats, Bert McKitten and Alan Purring Turing, who meant the world to Frankie.
“Frank” as he was known to many of his cherished friends loved literature, movies, the arts, music and stand-up comedy. Humor was never far away when you were with Frankie.
He loved running with his dad and completed the Tobacco Road Marathon last year.
Frankie was the kindest, most thoughtful man with a gentle soul. His favorite activity was to sit down in a warm sunny place with a good cup of coffee reading a book that challenged life’s choices. He could rattle off monologues without error and understood complex philosophical discussion like no other.
He has left a gaping hole in the hearts of those that knew him. He will be missed until the end of time.
A funeral service for Francis was held April 16, 2023 in the Chapel of Mitchell Funeral Home, Raleigh.
