She was born on August 30th, 1939 to the late James Doy Wimberley and Rebecca Griffis.
Georgia is survived by her son, Dwight Eddie Wilson, Jr. and wife Sue; Granddaughter, Brooke Wilson; Grandson, Travis Wilson; her sister, Ann Williams; Brother, Ronnie Wimberley and wife Deborah; as well as many nieces and nephews who cherished their aunt.
Georgia retired from G. Milton Small Architects- and was a member of the Temple of Pentecost.
A time of visitation will be held on Thursday, March 16, 2023, at Mitchell Funeral Home, 7209 Glenwood Ave. Raleigh, NC 27612, with a Funeral Service immediately following.
Services will conclude with a burial at Raleigh Memorial Park.
